Pluto Templates, Sprites and Manual
Pluto Manual
Pluto is an excellent and very comprehensive mail and news reader, but the documentation does not do it full justice. This project is an attempt to bring the documentation in to one place, originally based on the Docs files and the History files supplied by Jonathan, but with a great deal of information added culled from Newsgroup messages over the years, plus the experiences of several experienced users - a total of over 200 StrongHelp pages, or over 100 A4 text pages.
This has been produced as a StrongHelp manual for Pluto. I know that StrongHelp is not everyone's favourite help medium, but for some time there has been available programs from Chris Morison to create contents and index pages, and to convert a StrongHelp manual to a text file. Recently a program from Christian Ludlam and Justin Fletcher has become available to convert StrongHelp to HTML. So I feel that the majority of requirements can be catered for - one will never satisfy everyone! With StrongHelp there is also the possibility of adding links from dialog pages to the relevant help manual page - which is one of the few things MPro does that Pluto does not!
Additional information and suggestions for changes always welcome! You can help to create a complete and up-to-date manual for Pluto to benefit all users.

Pluto Templates and Sprites
These are alternative versions of the Templates and Sprites files for Pluto v2.04e and now v3.03e
Originally supplied by Nik Gare, but neither http://www.cheddarcheese.de/riscos/ or nikgare@cheddarcheese.de seem to be valid now.
To quote Nik's original announcements on 09/02/2001 and soon after ...
- All the icons are new, 16 colours, and work properly when 'pushed'.
- The template file has also been tidied up a bit ...
- Basically got rid of the close tools where a cancel button is present,
- got rid of a few toggle size tools where they were not needed,
- got rid of the write mail icon in the address book,
- "3d'd" the write mail/news and viewer windows
- and some more things that I have forgotten.
Changes by me since then ...
- Sprites file now has original !Pluto iconbar icon.
- Templates have some icon sizes increased to contain text.
- 27/03/2002 Templates modified up to v2.04b (I think!)
- 01/05/2002 v2.04b First public release by Martin Avison
- 05/05/2002 Deleted old !Plutox from Sprites
- 11/05/2002 Corrected MiscOpts template
- 17/07/2002 Adjusted more icon sizes - esp Box Names
- 30/07/2002 Changed Mail template for v2.04e

nxspell2. Made nxspell2 icon more obvious

validation if Border flag not on. Changed small, fixed, indirect text items to direct
- 05/12/2003 Corrected date lengths in Search & Replace windows
- 25/01/2004 Allowed * in UserId in Mail template
- 12/08/2004 Changed Search & Replace to colour fast searches green.
